The World Young Scientist Summit was held in Wenzhou from November 16 to 17, 2024, focusing on youth innovation and shaping new productive forces. Wenzhou-Kean University, as the organizer of the International Health Forum, saw its volunteers provide services at various positions for academicians, young scientists, and entrepreneurs from both domestic and international backgrounds, ensuring the smooth operation of the conference through their professional reception and service.

2. WKU volunteers

• The volunteers of Wenzhou-Kean University took on various responsibilities, including communication, guest reception, venue guidance, and stage assistance. With a positive and enthusiastic attitude, as well as sincere smiles, the volunteers warmly welcomed every guest, demonstrating excellent service spirit and earning unanimous praise from the attendees.

3. Volunteer Contributions in Key Forum Activities

• 3.1 "Health Together" – Volunteer Efforts at the Main Forum of International Health

  Volunteers witnessed the signing of the cooperation agreement between Wenzhou-Kean University and the Zhejiang Provincial Disease Control and Prevention Center, the establishment ceremony of the Wenzhou International Mental Health Center, and the signing of the International Health Initiative. Volunteers carefully arranged every seat, ensuring the smooth operation of the conference.

• 3.2 "Working Hand in Hand, Building Health" – Afternoon Forum on Environmental Health and Sustainable Development

  In the afternoon session of the Environmental Health and Sustainable Development forum, the report introduced Wenzhou-Kean University’s three core initiatives for sustainable development. Volunteers actively guided the participants, ensuring that the conference ran smoothly and assisting the guests with interactions.

• 3.3 Volunteers in the Biodiversity and Bioinformatics Innovation Forum

  At the Biodiversity and Bioinformatics Innovation Forum held at the College of Science and Engineering, volunteers warmly welcomed guests and assisted the expert scholars in delivering their presentations, ensuring the successful progression of the forum.

• 4.1 Hu Zehui's Volunteer Reflection
