Description: In this edition of the Computer Club's Academic Showcase and Skill Sharing event, we were honored to have Dr. Hemn Barzan Abdalla as the advisor and Huang JunBo as the person in charge of the activity. Their guidance and support added significant value to the event. The showcase featured nearly 20 academic posters exhibited in the GHKH ground floor hall, highlighting the latest research findings and innovative technologies in the field of computer science. Additionally, we extended invitations to several professors and students for skill-sharing sessions covering topics such as compilers, programming languages, project experiences, module development, linear calculators, and a physics-based music-playing device.

2. Event Highlights

Academic Poster Display: The GHKH ground floor hall was adorned with nearly 20 academic posters covering the research and projects of Computer Club members. These posters illustrated a myriad of research outcomes and innovative projects, emphasizing the academic prowess and creativity of the students.
Skill Sharing:

Briefing: Dr. Hemn gave a briefing, highlighting that the Computer Club provides an environment for students to share skills and thoughts, fostering a collaborative and innovative atmosphere.
Compiler for AI Preparation: WeiWu, administrator of PLCT, introduced a groundbreaking AI compiler designed specifically for AI applications, aiming to enhance efficiency and reduce computational resource consumption. WeiWu also announced an internship opportunity for students.
New Programming Language - Censo: Ozelot discussed the newly developed programming language "Censo," created during her internship with WeiWu. She highlighted its advantages in simplifying programming tasks.
Project Experience Rating: Participants rated and shared project experiences, providing valuable feedback and fostering collaboration.
Module Introduction: The session included insights into game module design, showcasing how to create mods for games like Minecraft.
Linear Calculator: Students demonstrated an independently developed linear calculator, blending mathematics and computer science.
Physics-based Music-Playing Device: A project demonstration featured a physics-based music-playing device utilizing interdisciplinary collaboration between physics and computer science.
